I looked
And the image was true.
Shaken,
The ripples blurred
That which had been clear
Into something
Obscure.
My sense
Of purpose which drove me
Dissolved.
The world changed
Into one that lacked direction.
I hesitated,
Confused.
In faith
I stepped into the future
Boldly.
With decision, pathways
Resumed their focus around me
And peace
Returned.
