Happy Mother's Day!

It's Mother's Day,
A special time
We set aside each year,
To honor those
Who gave us life
That we hold so dear.

And then there is
The certain one
With whom we walk through life
Who gave us children
Here on earth,
I'm speaking of my wife.

Then following in
Her mother's path
A daughter, special too,
Who now has children
Of her own
That we love so true.

God gave women
Here on earth
A precious role to play
And it is good
To honor them
On this, their special day.
