Vegetating

Best of intentions
Don't get it done
Whatever IT happens to be.

I put it off
And make excuses
If it's not important to me.

Like those minor repairs
That seem to pop up
Every week or so

Or those projects I think
Would be really worthwhile
That I just seem to let go.

It makes me wonder
Why Saturday morn
Motivation seems to evaporate

While I just sit back
And accomplish nothing
Except perhaps, vegetate.
