Quiet

I like it quiet;
Perfect silence.
I don't need the noise,
It's just a distraction.

I like it quiet;
I am good with my thoughts.
I don't need the noise,
It just makes me tense.

I like it quiet;
There's nothing to fear.
Most people want noise
To keep them company.

I like it quiet;
It's easier to hear God.
In everyday noise
I can't focus on Him.

I like it quiet;
Especially when I read.
I don't want music playing
It just pulls me away.

I like it quiet;
Away from the hum
Of the noisy electronics.
They make my head ache.

I like it quiet;
It helps me relax.
Noise just keeps me
From falling asleep....Zzz.....
