We leave Saturday for a trip. Not just any trip. We are headed to Africa.
I've been to Africa before. To Niger. Think desert. Poorest country on earth. Extreme poverty. Islam.
This time it is to Kenya. Equator. Jungle (at least part of it). Over 7,000 ft. altitude. Temperature range this time of year where we will be headed is 60-80 F. Poverty, yes, but, not as extreme. Large percentage of Christians. Stable for the last few years.
Packing. Leave Saturday and arrive late Sunday. Building project during the week. Church on Sunday morning before flying out late Sunday night. Home late on Monday.
One checked bag (50 lb. limit) and a carry on. Pack light.
How in the world do you pack for a place you've never been??!
Hopefully there will be a full report with pictures upon my return. You may have to remind me....
