Seussically Lost

Have you ever had one of those times
When there is something you just have to find
So you look and you look
In each cranny and nook
Searching for that thing you just can't find?

In each cranny and nook
As you look and you look
You find all the things you thought were lost.
So, you set them aside to the place where you know
You can find them next time when you look.

And have you noticed that when you look for the lost thing
And you search and you search as you go
The place where you find it
Is always the last place
You would think is the place you should go?

Hmmm......sounds like a good place to quit.

8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”  Luke 15:8-10
