And It Snows

The cold wind blows
And it snows

So that drifts form
As the storm

Scours the field
And I shield

My stinging face
In this place

Where the bitter cold
Seems to enfold

While I desire
A roaring fire

Where I may warm
This frozen form

As the cold wind blows
And it snows.
